Moroba Nkawe
With over 20 years’ experience in the film and television industry, Moroba has produced feature films, television dramas, TV commercials and music videos and has filmed across the African continent. She has produced and line produced films that have travelled international festivals including Toronto International Film Festival, Berlinale, London Film Festival and Locarno International Film Festival amongst others.
In 2015 Moroba joined Hollard Film Guarantors as Production Executive, overseeing the risk assessment, evaluation and monitoring of productions from financing to delivery. In 2019 she co-founded Maru Film Services, a company that provides risk solutions to the film and entertainment industries.
Moroba sits on the boards of the Encounters South African International Documentary Festival and the SA Film Academy. Moroba holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
Zethu Mlotha
Zethu Mlotha is an experienced short-term insurance professional with over 10 years of expertise in claims administration, client portfolio management, and enhancing the client experience. She has worked with leading insurers including OUTsurance, DIAL DIRECT, and Discovery, consistently delivering results and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Recognized for her leadership early on, Zethu led a claims team after completing OUTsurance’s YATS programme and was later selected for senior roles at Telesure and Discovery, where she contributed to major client service improvement projects.
Currently serving as Accounts Executive at Maru Film Services, she combines her industry acumen with a commitment to service excellence in the dynamic film and entertainment insurance space.
